Alkaline Battery refers to a battery that uses an alkaline electrolyte, generally called an alkaline battery in life, referring to an alkaline zinc-manganese battery. In a broad sense, the electrode materials used in alkaline batteries include: zinc-manganese dioxide, zinc-mercury oxide, cadmium-nickel hydroxide, etc.
What are the performance characteristics of alkaline batteries?
What shapes of alkaline batteries are available?
What are the structural characteristics of alkaline batteries?
The nominal voltage of alkaline battery is 1.5V, and the maximum voltage is 1.65V. Its discharge performance has the following characteristics compared with ordinary zinc-manganese battery.
①Small internal resistance, able to work continuously under heavy load while maintaining a high and stable voltage.
②High utilization rate of MnO2, compared with the same volume, its charge is about twice as large as that of cardboard batteries.
③Small self-discharge rate during the storage period, generally stored for 3 years can still maintain 85% of the original charge, longer life.
④Good low temperature performance, 25% of the normal temperature charge can be output at -20℃, and it can work at lower temperature under light load.
MnO2 doped with titanium or some other metal oxides, can improve the charging performance of MnO2.
1. Rolled alkaline battery structure
This structure is characterized by a large area of positive and negative electrodes and a small superpotential, which enables higher capacity at low temperature and high current discharge.
2. Square monoblock alkaline battery structure
The positive and negative electrodes of the square monoblock battery adopt a cluster structure, and the positive and negative electrodes are pressed into a square-shaped sheet with a metal current collection network in the middle of the sheet.
Alkaline batteries have a representative cylinder type, which is the opposite of the structural layout of a cylinder type ordinary zinc-manganese battery. In the alkaline battery, the positive electrode is located next to the inner wall of the cylinder, and the negative electrode is located in the middle of the positive electrode with a nail-shaped negative collector.
In order to facilitate and can be used interchangeably with ordinary zinc manganese batteries, while avoiding the use of positive and negative pole is wrong, the battery in the design and manufacture, the above alkaline battery semi-finished products upside down, so that the bottom of the steel cylinder facing up, opening down, and then put a convex cover on the bottom of the steel cylinder (false cover), the positive pole is located above; in the negative lead body welded on a metal sheet (false bottom), so that the appearance of alkaline batteries positive and negative polarity and shape and ordinary zinc-manganese batteries are the same.
Guangzhou Dolphin Information Technology Co., Ltd. has focused on the development and production of alkaline batteries for several years. And it commits to provide perfect service for every customer from all over the world.
